Lakefest 2005 Regatta Announcement

The Texoma Sailing Club and Denison Chamber of Commerce, invites you to join us at Grandpappy Point Marina, Denison, Texas, for the 2005 Texoma Lakefest Regatta. In its 19th year, Texoma Lakefest Regatta has raised over $1,000,000 for children’s charities in the Texoma area, and is noted for competitive racing and great parties.

All proceeds are distributed locally and in 2004, $50,000 was granted to 16 local children’s charities, enabling them to enrich their programs in many ways.

There will again be two race courses. Course One will host the fastest One Design and lowest handicapped PHRF classes; Course Two will host the other One Design classes and the balance of the PHRF classes. In the past, classes have included, the Hobie 33 Class, the J/80 Class, the Melges 24 Class, the J/29 Class, and the J/105 Class competing for their annual Texas Chute Out award.
